AXA Advocates Health Awareness with Annual Corporate Responsibility Week

As part of its ongoing commitment to risk research, education and prevention, AXA Hong Kong held its Corporate Responsibilty Week (“CR Week”) with the theme “Eat healthy, stay in shape”. This year, a range of interactive activities were held from 21 to 29 May 2016 to promote healthier lifestyles and habits internally and externally. This is part of a global company-wide employee engagement activity held every year.

Senior management executives of AXA Hong Kong took part in CR week by sharing useful healthy eating tips and demonstrating stretching exercises easily done in the office. A full range of healthy activities including healthy snack making workshops, yoga class, immersive cycling class, vegetarian cooking class were examples of activities organised during the week, all of which were well received by the employees.

Aside from internal engagement activities, the AXA Action Team led by employees also engaged with the community by volunteering to help promote healthy living to the elderly.

CR Week is a key global employee engagement activity to demonstrate AXA’s commitment to protect people and care for society, well-supported by 166,000 AXA employees around the world.

Ms. Andrea Wong, Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer of AXA Hong Kong, said, “We are delighted to participate in the CR Week again this year. It offers great opportunities to engage our employees in rasing their health awareness and contributing to our local community at the same time. A big thank you to all our employees for their enthusiastic support and participation throughout the week. We will continue to drive risk preventive education in the community and help people in our society to better manage various risks for a safer and brighter tomorrow.”
