AXA Hong Kong is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Rueegg as Managing Director – General Insurance, effective January 2018, subject to regulatory approval. Martin will directly report to Etienne Bouas-Laurent, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Hong Kong, and will join Hong Kong Executive Committee as a member.

Prior to joining AXA Hong Kong, Martin was the Chief Executive Officer of AXA Thailand General Insurance since 2013. He has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, majority with AXA and Winterthur. Martin was the Chief Executive Officer of AXA Corporate Solutions in Hong Kong from 2007 to 2010. He is also a Certified Public Accountant with proven track record in senior executive positions in Europe and Asia.
