AXA Hong Kong appoints Sally Wan as New CEO upon the nomination of Etienne Bouas-Laurent as Group Deputy CFO of AXA

Etienne Bouas-Laurent, currently CEO of AXA Hong Kong, is appointed Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer and a Member of AXA’s Management Committee on September 1st. Etienne will become Group Chief Financial Officer on January 1, 2020 when Gérald Harlin, Deputy CEO, Chief Financial Officer, and a Member of AXA’s Management Committee will retire.

Following this appointment, AXA Hong Kong announced that Sally Wan, currently Chief Strategy Officer of AXA Hong Kong, will succeed Etienne Bouas-Laurent as CEO of AXA Hong Kong, effective September 1, 2019 subject to regulatory approvals. Sally will report to Gordon Watson, CEO of AXA Asia and a Member of AXA’s Management Committee.
