2022	AXA Hong Kong and Macau named an event space as “AXA x WONDERLAND”. Located in a prime location in West Kowloon Cultural District, the event space can hold up to 8,000 spectators and host many of Hong Kong large scale outdoor concerts and events. AXA Hong Kong and Macau launched the first AXA Medical Centre, providing our customers with one-stop hassle-free comprehensive health management services, in partnership with EC Healthcare. AXA Hong Kong and Macau became the first insurance partner of Priceless Planet Coalition to plant trees around the world on behalf of customers who have registered to use Emma by AXA, aiming to restore 100 million trees globally by 2025.

2021	The new headquarters of AXA Sales Company Limited opened in Qianhai, Shenzhen. It has strengthened AXA’s leading position in the China market. AXA Group was a founding member to inaugurate the UN-convened Net-Zero Insurance Alliance with the aim to use our expertise to enable the transition to a resilient net-zero global economy.

2018	AXA Group has acquired XL Group Ltd, making AXA #1 in P&C Commercial lines. AXA Group acquired the remaining 50% stake in AXA Tianping to accelerate its growth in mainland China and became the No.1 foreign P&C insurer.

2013	AXA Hong Kong and Macau fully supported the establishment of the AXA Professorship of Geography and Resource Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The six-year AXA Professorship was sponsored by the AXA Research Fund with 1 million euro.

2012	AXA Group and HSBC entered into a long-term partnership in Property & Casualty in Asia, including Hong Kong and Latin America.

1985	Claude Bébéar, Honorary Chairman of the AXA Group, created the name AXA and all of the mutual societies and insurance companies over which he presided took the AXA Group name.
