The elderly recalled their golden memories with AXA Hong Kong in a day trip to promote healthy aging

In view of Hong Kong’s rapidly aging population, AXA Hong Kong launched its new long-term care product in March to support the evolving customer needs throughout various stages of their lives. In the recent "Golden Years" volunteering day tour event jointly organised by AXA and the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, we encouraged the elderly to engage more with the society and better enjoy their retirement lives, resonating with the company’s commitment to support the elderly to live better lives.

On 29 April, the AXA Action Team, the staff volunteer team, spent a rewarding day with 100 senior citizens in visiting some iconic and nostalgic attractions in the city to relive their golden memories. The elderly enjoyed multiple activities throughout the day, began with exploring “The Legend of Hong Kong Toys” exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of History; then visited the heritage Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui, one of the oldest local landmarks; and concluded the day with rides on the Hong Kong Observation Wheel to take in stunning views of the Victoria Harbour.
