AXA Hong Kong’s commitment lies deep in giving back to the community through its support to the less privileged. On 29 January, members of the AXA Action Team, AXA Hong Kong’s volunteer group, visited children living at the Small Group Home of S.K.H. St. Christopher’s Home. AXA Hong Kong not only brought warmth and happiness to the children, but were also able to support S.K.H. St. Christopher’s Home with a donation of HK$100,000 to its social enterprise “Good 4 Life” that goes to help fund their daily operations.
During the activity, AXA Action Team members, together with the children built Lego models of the Chinese Zodiac. A set of Lego bricks was also donated to each child who took part, bringing them festive joy ahead of the Lunar New Year.
The social enterprise “Good 4 Life” is a retail shop that provides occupational training and job opportunities to young people who have lived at the Home and also the under-skilled. As a token of appreciation, a masterpiece drawn by the stay-at-home children was presented to AXA Hong Kong.
